Coca-Cola increased its profit by 4% in 2015


Net profit of the world’s largest manufacturer of soft drinks Coca-Cola increased by 4% in 2015, compared with last year – up to 7,351 billion dollars, according to a recent company report.

The cost of the shares was $1.67 in comparison with $1.60 a year earlier. Operating revenues of Coca-Cola fell by 4% – to 44.294 billion dollars.

In the fourth quarter, the net profit of Coca-Cola increased by 61% compared with the same period in 2014 – up to 1,237 billion dollars. It was $ 0.28 per share in comparison with $ 0.17 a year earlier. Financial analysts expected the figure of $ 0.37. Operating revenue declined by 8%, to 10 billion dollars, as it was stated in annual report.

The company is proud that despite the challenging macroeconomic conditions in 2015, the plan of profitability increasing was achieved. In 2016, Coca-Cola expects further growth rates.
